The Challenge
BarkleyREI’s own CMS platform, Architech, allows for greater customization and hands-on editing controls — while keeping costs lower than most CMS platforms.
The University of Virginia, a frequent BREI partner, chose to be the first higher ed client to implement ArchiTECH for their School of Architecture.
Solution
Against a tight, 6-month deadline, we:
- Created more than 15 unique templates for content editors – including students, faculty, and alumni – to share portfolios and other work.
- Enhanced the overall user experience by incorporating seamless, single-sign-on technology.
- Added robust, elastic site searches to power UX throughout the site and to allow for quick and easy content changes.
