  • Web Content Migration Specialist - FREELANCE ONLY

    We are growing!  We have immediate openings for three temporary Web Content Migration Specialists to join a dedicated project team charged with completing an enterprise Website migration project.  

    The position is 100% remote and the duration of the project is up to 15 months in length.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work alongside UX Designers, Content Strategists and Copywriters in addition to Client Service and Project Management teams to create purposeful digital experiences for our clients.
    • Create various formal or informal artifacts including but not limited to spreadsheets, text documents, content outlines/matrices, taxonomies/labeling, and content mapping documentation.
    • Assess existing web content in accordance with user experience recommendations, current web technologies and accessibility standards.
    • Create and maintain Gather Content templates throughout the life cycle of every project, ensuring content types are mapped correctly to page templates in the Content Management System, while accounting for Heading Structures, Meta Descriptions, Meta Data, Alt Tags, SEO Keywords, Character Counts and more.
    • Collaborate closely with clients to collect and organize various content types in preparation for migration.
    • Oversee and execute the migration of content using a combination of third party tools and various document types/formats.
    • Enter and format content as necessary within various content management systems.
    • Work autonomously, and as part of a team.
    • Demonstrate an aptitude for time management, organization, and communication.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of three years experience in a Web content management related role.
    • Expert-level knowledge of OU Campus CMS or other content management systems, and the associated technical constraints specific to end users.
    • Solid understanding of analytics, keywords, metadata, SEO and accessibility standards.
    • Ability to think outside the box and provide innovative alternatives to traditional solutions or processes as necessary.
    • Excellent organizational, writing, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

    • Work alongside Content Managers, Content Strategists and Copywriters & Visual Designers in addition to Client Service, Project Management teams to create purposeful digital experiences for our clients.
    • Collaborate closely with clients throughout every project to identify the proper balance of user and client business needs.Demonstrate an effective use of concise and contextual language to inform and aid users in the find ability of information.
    • Deconstruct and reconstruct complex architectures for a variety of clients.
    • Simplify and strategically develop architectures that directly align with content strategy to successfully support the overall user experience.
    • Perform content audits, analytic audits, gap analysis, ROT analysis, competitive analysis, content inventories & assessments/inventories to inform the information architecture, navigational structures and content strategy.
    • Translate user research, and client discovery findings into formal or informal or artifacts including but not limited to information architecture, sitemaps, user flows, navigation structures, paper prototypes, functional requirement documentation, content outlines/matrices, taxonomies/labeling, to support the digital strategy.
    • Support the creation of documentation, reference materials, and necessary artifacts to guide internal development teams.
    • Clearly and effectively present recommendations to internal teams and to clients both in-person and remote as necessary.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of three years experience in a UX related role.
    • Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Human Computer Interaction, Web Design, Communication, or other equivalent.  Masters degree preferred.S
    • Strong understanding of the interrelationship between Information Architecture and Content Strategy.
    • Previous experience leading large-scale website redesign projects within Higher EducationSolid understanding of analytics, keywords, metadata, SEO and accessibility standards.

    • Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of Information Architecture, and how you have successfully implemented it for clients. (Approach, Methodology, Processes, Final Output)

    BarkleyREI has an immediate opening for a Project Manager. Our project managers play a critical role in managing a range of challenging digital projects. They ensure that our team members are working together to produce great solutions that clients love.

    The Project Manager will report to a Director of Project Management. He / she will be expected to effectively manage cross-disciplinary teams to ensure that quality solutions are delivered on time and on budget.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with Client Services to scope and estimate projects
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans so that milestones are completed on time
    • Understand the project lifecycle as it progresses through departments and phases; ensure that all partners understand goals, scope, and timing
    • Manage risks and raise issues/concerns to stakeholders
    • Participate in planning meetings and provide ideas for better, more cost-effective solutions
    • Review deliverables for adherence to project goals, and requirements
    • Manage change orders, relevant documentation, meeting minutes, etc., in support of delivery
    • Log issues for resolution and track through to completion

    Resource Management

    Essential Responsibilities:

    Strategic planning/consulting

    • Develop and evolve strategic recommendations to exceed client’s objectives through enterprise web sites and other digital marketing efforts including paid online marketing campaigns, SEO, email marketing, mobile, and online content
    • Work with client to integrate online efforts with client’s offline efforts
    • Assist Account Directors with client discovery meetings and presentation of strategic deliverables to client
