BarkleyREI Develops Interactive Camera Interface for Kodak

Release Date: May 05, 2009

Pittsburgh, PA – BarkleyREI recently completed its first-ever project with Kodak, delivering an interactive prototype for an upcoming camera interface. The prototype, which was built entirely in Flash, will be used to simulate the camera for user experience testing in the near future.

The BarkleyREI user experience team leveraged their expertise with building user-friendly websites to produce a completely functional interface, allowing users to interact with it as though it were the actual camera.

“This represents a new opportunity for us,” said Shane Pryal, managing director of BarkleyREI. “Partnering with Kodak allowed our team to work with a leading consumer brand, using cutting-edge technology to make the user experience as realistic as possible.”

Strong collaboration between several of the agency’s disciplines allowed all work to be completed in less than four weeks.
