Director of Client Services

BarkleyREI has an immediate opening for an experienced Client Service Director who is responsible for management of client services staff and operations, representation and integration of the client service function within the company, client satisfaction and effective management of REI projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

Manage and develop client service staff, ensure project profitability and revenue growth goals are met, monitor and ensure client satisfaction, develop and manage streamlined process, participate in director-level meetings and decisions

Ensure project profitability and revenue growth goals are met

  • Develop and manage process for project estimating, tracking, reporting and invoice tracking
  • Develop and manage regular monthly account reviews 
  • Collaborate with Planning & Strategy Director to identify opportunities for growth and ongoing plans to address client business goals
  • Collaborate with Business Development Director to improve consistency and accuracy of initial client communications (proposals, SOW’s, etc.)
     

Monitor and ensure client satisfaction

  • Monitor regular formal client satisfaction surveys
  • Visit clients as necessary
  • Monitor and coach staff effectiveness
  • Gauge project quality and make necessary changes to ensure REI work is of superior quality and effectiveness
     

Develop and manage streamlined process

  • Collaborate with other function leaders in the development and evolution of an efficient and effective process
  • Ensure client service operations adhere to REI process 
  • Develop and communicate clear job responsibilities across groups and people.
  • Develop standardized deliverable templates as needed
  • Recommend and assist the implementation of new services as opportunities and needs arise
     

Participate in director-level meetings and decisions

  • Ad hoc assignments as needed to advance the company
     

Requirements / Education:

  • 6-8 years working with and managing clients in an agency environment
  • 5+ years experience working in web development 
  • 3+ years of staff management
  • Deep understanding of full spectrum of web development process, from strategy, UE, design, execution and marketing
  • Ability to lead, mentor and motivate others
  • A passion for all things interactive
